Gardner
Hirsh
Gardner has had quite an accomplished career in the world of
rock and roll. As drummer/vocalist with the band New England
Gardner experienced many musical highlights, among them studio
work with Paul Stanley and Todd Rundgren, a smash hit single
with Don't Ever Wanna Lose Ya and arena tours with Kiss, AC/DC,
Journey and countless others.
After New England's heyday, Gardner began a distinguished career
as a record producer, working with many AOR mainstays. With
New England's music enjoying a resurgence, Gardner had numerous
offers to go from the control room to the isolation booth once
again and become an artist.
Wearing both the artists and producer hats Gardner went into
the studio in 2002 and emerged with a collection of songs showcasing
his commercial voice and trademark harmonies.
Labels worldwide sat up and took notice and the record was snatched
up by three record companies: GB Music (North America), MTM
(Europe) and Marquee/Avalon (Japan). From the opening few seconds
of the CD, the listener knows he is in for a ride of anthemic,
hook-laiden rockers. New England even reunited on the CD for
the closing track, More Than You'll Ever Know. The CD bridges
the gap between New England's music and the rock of today.
